How to activate a Microsoft Office Professional key?

Activating a Microsoft Office Professional key is really simple, just follow those short steps:

Uninstall your current Office set up.
Reboot your computer
Install Office using the official offline installer, available at the official Microsoft.com download link:

Or use the step-by step guide below.

1. Get Installation ID

Open Word and wait for the Activation Wizard. Choose “I want to activate the software by telephone” and click Next.

If it doesn’t appear, go to Account on the Home screen and click Activate Product under Product Information.

Write down the Installation ID.

2. Open Microsoft Activation Portal

Go to https://aka.ms/aoh
Sign in with your Microsoft account

3. Generate Confirmation ID

Enter the Installation ID on the portal
Copy the Confirmation ID provided

4. Complete Activation

- Return to the original PC
- Enter the Confirmation ID to finish activation.

OPTION 2:

Reedeem the key at setup.office.com.
